City of Ottawa to Host MISA Ontario 2014 Annual Conference & Trade Show
Plans are well under way for the 2014 event, which will be held at the Ottawa Convention Centre in beautiful downtown Ottawa from June 8-11.

The 2014 theme, "Transforming Client Experience" will provide delegates with a robust program of keynote speakers, workshops and panel discussions. Networking & social events will take place in the heart of the city overlooking the historic Rideau Canal and Parliament Buildings.

MISA Prairies Annual Conference
April 13 - 15
Individuals and organizations interested in presenting at the upcoming MISA Prairies conference are invited to review the Call for Speakers
and to submit their application
no later than Feb. 21.
The conference theme, "IT Matters", is intended to encourage discussions, presentations and to showcase experiences related to demonstrating how and why information technology matters in the delivery of municipal services. For additional information about the conference click HERE.
MISA/ASIM Canada - Call for Nominations
Dennis Steen Award & Peter Bennett Award
The Dennis Steen Award is presented to an individual or individuals who are not municipal employees and who have made outstanding contributions to the Canadian municipal IT community, furthering the objectives of MISA/ASIM Canada and its member associations. A municipal information technology leader(s) may receive the Peter Bennett award each year from MISA/ASIM CANADA as outlined in this call for nominations. The award may not necessarily be given in any particular year should there not be a worthy recipient in the opinion of the MISA/ASIM Canada Board of Directors. Deadline for submissions for both awards is March 16, 2014
