MISA Members: Special Rate on Smart City SUMMIT with Top Keynoters

MISA/ASIM Canada is a Partner in a Summit that explores the tech-driven transformation of Smart Cities as social, sustaining and self-aware communities.  According to Roy Wiseman, Executive Director of MISA/ASIM Canada:  “The World Future Cities Summit combines seven International conferences to provide key insights for planners.  MISA/ASIM Canada is involved because the Summit extends beyond technology planning to the heart of what is coming for society in the next five- to seven-years.”

Keynotes at the Summit include an icon of data development who has created billion-dollar businesses that drive open cities, as well as a leader of the U.S. Gigabit Cities Program.

IBM’s Steve Adler is IBM’s Chief Information Strategist.  Steven is an expert in data science and an innovator who has developed several billion dollar revenue businesses in the areas of Data Governance, Enterprise Privacy Architectures, and Internet Insurance.  He has been a leader in Information strategy and technology development at IBM for almost 20 years.  He invented Internet Insurance, patented the Enterprise Privacy Architecture, founded IBM's Data Governance Council, and created the Information Governance Community. 

William Wallace is Executive Director of US IGNITE, the public-private nonprofit organization inspired by President Obama and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the National Science Foundation to build an ecosystem of smart gigabit cities leveraging software-defined infrastructure to support the Internet of Things and other smart city technologies.

They will feature among 175 key speakers at Toronto event on October 14-15, 2015 in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.  Other speakers will deliver best-practice results from Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
