Topic: Preparing your data for smart cities using ETL
Hosted by: Consortech
Presenter: Lesley MacKenzie
Description: Smart Cities initiatives aim to provide seamless intelligent citizen services. These services are and will be largely data-driven, which will greatly increase the importance and role of data in their success. This brings data quality, processes and inter-connectivity into play, as municipalities depend on an increasing amount of information. We will cover different topics including: • Implementing data quality processes • Breaking silos between systems through data integration • Distributing and sharing data out to stakeholders • And finally, using automation to implement these processes efficiently across the organization
