  • Title: Fighting Cybercrime by Sharing
  • Time: January 21 at 11 am ET

  • Overview: Cybercrime is growing globally through well-funded organized crime groups, nation states and local actors. It is one of the top business continuity issues facing all organizations. Canada and Canadian municipalities are not immune to cyber-attacks.  Learn why the Canadian Cyber Threat Exchange (CCTX) platform was established three years ago to help all Canadian organizations collaborate and share best practices and insights to prevent threats from spreading. In this webinar, we will share the types of organizations who are already participating in the community and how the platform works in partnership with the federal government.  We will also provide results from a global study validating that the simple act of sharing is an efficient and inexpensive protection model that works. We enable regional communities, including municipalities, hospitals, clinics, school boards, colleges/universities and other important local businesses, to collaborate on the same platform.  None of us are as smart as all of us working together.

  • Presenter: Mary Jane Couldridge, Director, Business Development,  Canadian Cyber Threat Exchange(CCTX)
