The City of Oshawa has developed the New Subdivision Homeowners Information Brochure and Guide as well as a City webpage that includes frequently asked questions and answers, to help those who will be purchasing a newly constructed home in an Oshawa subdivision. The brochure, guide and webpage provide information on developer and builder responsibilities as well as key contacts for utilities, school boards, City of Oshawa and Region of Durham services.
"Oshawa staff have prepared information tools to help answer common questions for those who are purchasing a new home," said Councillor John Aker, Chair of the Development Services Committee. "Durham/Oshawa was ranked number one for real estate value in the Greater Toronto Area and Top 10 in Canada according to the recent MoneySense magazine. More and more people are calling our awarding-winning city home."
The brochure is available at participating new home sales offices. At City Hall (50 Centre Street South) the brochure is available at Service Oshawa and the guide at Building Services. For more information, visit www.oshawa.ca/newhome.
