A Message from MISA Ontario President Morgan Calvert Regarding Cancellation of the Annual Conference & Trade Show

On March 23, 2020, Mayor John Tory declared an Emergency in the City of Toronto. As the safety of our members, partners and staff is our highest priority, the MISA Ontario Board of Directors has reached the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the MISA Ontario 2020 Annual Conference & Trade Show which was scheduled for May 31 to June 2 at Beanfield Centre in Downtown Toronto.

Full refunds for your conference passes will be issued in the coming weeks; we ask for your patience as this is unfortunately a manual process.

If you booked with Hotel X, you should have received your cancellation and refund already; no further action is required. If you booked your accommodations at an alternative hotel, please recognize that it is your responsibility to reach out to them directly to cancel your accommodations.

I want you to know that we absolutely intend to continue providing value to our members through online engagement and information sharing during this challenging time. Now more than ever it is critical for all of us to come together to share and leverage information as we are in this together!

I encourage you to please review the FAQ page on our website where we address our next steps.

Thank you for your ongoing support. If you have any questions, or ideas our association could consider, please email MISA Ontario Executive Director, Anne Babej.
