The City of Burlington is asking people who access the city's website at using a smartphone or tablet to tell us which apps to offer.

"More and more people are using their smartphones or tablets to access online information and services," said Kwab Ako-Adjei, senior manager of Government Relations and Strategic Communications with the city. "We know that 50 per cent of people who browse the City of Burlington's website at are using a mobile device."

Residents have told the city that the city's website is a top source for city programs and services. Surveys have also shown that people would like more services available online.

"Community input helped us build the current city website, which is responsive for all devices and is the product of continued conversation with our community," said Ako-Adjei. "We want to take the city's web services to the next level by using apps to make mobile devices an even better way to access city programs and services."

The apps survey is available at until Nov. 21. For more information, please contact
